A New Horizon For Young People

Thank you to everyone who attended our end of year celebration and BBQ
The day was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't be more proud of our young people

Our 2022 Year 11 Leavers

Tyler has done amazingly well since starting at SwitchED2.

He arrived a very shy young person and developed into a confident young man achieving a raft of qualifications at Level 2. These included maths, English, ICT, science and Vocational Skills.

Tyler has been offered a placement at Furness College where he will study combined science

Jack W also worked in the outreach provision and has also been offered a placement at Furness College

Warren spent two very enjoyable years at SwitchED2, achieving a number of E3 qualifications before returning to his home in the Midlands. He has already established a gardening business which he will endeavour to build upon whilst seeking an apprenticeship. Warren loved treating staff to his famous lemon cake - we will certainly miss that!

Luke achieved E3 maths, English, ICT and E3 certificate in Vocational Skills.

Luke has been offered a position at Cowran Farm where he will be working with animals which is something he has always been passionate about (especially dogs!!)

Tyler M has overcome many hurdles to achieve Level 1 in ICT, maths, science and vocational skills. He also achieved E3 in maths. Tyler has been offered a placement at Kendal College
